Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 May 2026 · How and why we use cookies on GenAI Kids

We use cookies to keep the platform running securely and to improve your experience. We do not use cookies for advertising or to track children across third-party websites. In the native app, no tracking cookies or analytics are used — only essential session cookies required for login.

1

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage — we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

Third-Party Cookies

Web purchases use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and checkout functionality. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. iOS app purchases use Apple In-App Purchase and do not use Stripe checkout cookies inside the app.

We do not use social pixels, search advertising tags, or any other advertising trackers.

How to Manage Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies:

  • Browser Settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will break the login system and core functionality.
  • Cookie Banner — when you first visit GenAI Kids, you can choose to accept all cookies or decline optional ones. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and reloading the page.
  • Opt-Out Tools — for analytics, you may use browser privacy extensions such as uBlock Origin.

Children & Cookies (Native App)

We do not use cookies to track children across third-party websites. Essential cookies within the platform are required for the secure login sessions that protect children's accounts. No advertising cookies are ever set in the children's learning environment.

Native app users: The native app does not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) because no user tracking occurs. No analytics, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking cookies are set on mobile devices. The only data stored locally is essential session authentication required to keep you logged in.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
