Terms of Service

GenAI Kids ("we", "our", "the Platform") is an educational SaaS platform that teaches artificial intelligence concepts to children aged 6–16. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, mobile app, and all associated services.

The Platform is intended for children aged 6–16, accessed under the supervision and authority of a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• By registering, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create.
• Children under 13 may only use the Platform with verifiable parental consent, in compliance with COPPA (US) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
• We reserve the right to request proof of parental consent at any time.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support-genaikids@cyberdeux.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We offer a free tier and paid subscription plans. Purchases made in the iOS app are billed through Apple In-App Purchase. Purchases made on the web are billed through Stripe.

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. GST may apply for Australian customers.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice.
• App Store refunds are handled by Apple. Web purchase refunds are handled case-by-case; contact support within 7 days of a charge for assistance.

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Using the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the Platform.
• Uploading, transmitting, or sharing offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content.
• Sharing account credentials, sub-accounts, or access with unauthorised persons.
• Circumventing access controls, paywalls, or any security measures.
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Platform.
• Impersonating any person, entity, or GenAI Kids staff.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

All Platform content — including curriculum, lesson text, UI design, branding, logos, AI-generated responses, and proprietary algorithms — is the exclusive intellectual property of GenAI Kids or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

The Platform uses large language models (LLMs) and other AI systems to generate personalised educational content, quiz questions, and tutor responses.

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
• GenAI Kids does not warrant the factual accuracy or completeness of AI outputs.
• All AI interactions are monitored and filtered for child safety.
• Do not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical educational or professional decisions.

We take the safety of children extremely seriously. Our moderation systems include:

• Automated content filtering on all AI interactions.
• Topic restriction — the AI tutor is designed to redirect non-educational conversations.
• No direct peer-to-peer messaging between children.
• No advertising or third-party tracking within the children's learning environment.
• Parent dashboard with full activity visibility.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular educational outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GenAI Kids shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) AUD $100 or (b) the total fees you paid us in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate at any time.

• You may delete your account from the Account Settings page at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breaches of these Terms.
• On termination, your licence to use the Platform ends immediately.
• Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal-genaikids@cyberdeux.com. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of NSW, Australia.
